Our founder endured a financial roller-coaster during her early childhood, as her family fortunes swung from riches to rags. That formative experience with money – or more specifically not having it, left an indelible mark.

She was determined to earn money and learn money and went on to manage money, not just for herself, but sophisticated institutional investors all over the world.

Her own experience showed that money need not be a mystery – it could be learnt and taught like any other subject except that most schools don’t. She believes ignorance is an unforced error which can be and should be remedied with an effort to empower because when it comes to money, ignorance is not bliss, but loss – of confidence and one’s standard of living.
